Jewish Family Services, an agency of the Canton Jewish Community Federation

Jewish Family Services extends compassionate care to members of our community who find themselves isolated, at-risk, or vulnerable. We also provide support to families facing difficult decisions regarding the welfare of their loved ones, offering guidance and information to ensure they are aware of all available options. While our primary focus is on serving the elderly, we welcome individuals, families, and children seeking assistance.

For over 40 years, our dedicated staff at Jewish Family Services has been committed to helping individuals meet their needs, providing advocacy, offering assistance with money management, and combating isolation through various initiatives.

Our comprehensive range of services includes:

  • Counseling and Crisis Counseling
  • Food Bank and Emergency Assistance
  • Family Consultations
  • Prescription Drug Assistance
  • Guardianship and Assistance in Financial Management
  • Representative Payee Services
  • JShuttle

In addition, Jewish Family Services offers information and referral services, case management, a J-shuttle service for transportation needs, and a variety of adult programming aimed at fostering social connections and engagement.

Our Adult Programs feature outings to local restaurants, regional trips, a morning breakfast club, and kosher lunches accompanied by entertainment, providing opportunities for recreation, camaraderie, and enrichment within a supportive community setting.
